Dog Park / South East Part of Village
Idea shared by The Walkers - August 4, 2014 at 12:02 PM
There are lots of dog owners in the village. I think we should look into putting a dog park in. Also the South Eastern part of the village could use more green space would be a good spot.

The number of dogs in my neighborhood (south of Fullerton near the OP country club) has increased dramatically in just the last few years. I currently drive my dog to Forest Park's dog park (Circle Ave near the Ike) and then walk around the village and sometimes have a drink or lunch (many of the restaurants have outside seating spring through fall).
I think it would have been a much better use of the old Presbyterian Church on Armitage to have made a dog park there than to put in those UNUSED exercise things.

I agree that the South-Eastern part of the village needs more green space, perhaps a dog park.
I agree we need a dog park, but not on Armitage. It's nice to have that park on Armitage and I see it being used every day.
The Forest Preserve area could also feature a dog park, although I'm not sure how safe it would be since it's a remote place.
